Representing the cutting edge of cross-country protection and design, the new ShocAir boots combine the latest developments in materials and fabrics. These specialized performance boots are designed to withstand the rigors of cross-country riding. Ventilated EVA molding technology provides flexible strength and airflow to the outer shell. Optimal impact protection is provided by a new smart layer that reacts to impact between the tendon and the outer boot. This Shoc smart layer is composed of an impact-sensitive expanding material containing free-form molecules that remain soft and flexible when not under pressure. However, at point of impact, the molecules hinge and lock together to form a hard, protective shock-absorbing barrier, returning to a flexible state only when pressure is released.

This elusive combination of impact protection and tendon support, combined with flexibility and airflow, is packed into a lightweight shoe. The ShocAir from LeMieux truly sets new standards in flexible cross-country protection.

Rigid tendon protectors are now replaced by vertical strips of Shock Impact Responsive material that remain flexible until point of impact.

Forward-facing external vents and a 3D mesh inner lining optimize breathability. Soft, stretchy cotton inner lining provides comfort and prevents chafing.

Information and care

IMPORTANT FIT INFORMATION Please note that a proper fit is essential for optimal use of the Shoc Air Boots. To achieve a secure and safe fit, these cross country shoes must be put on firmly. Remove them from their packaging and squeeze the pads between your fingers to shape them before putting them on. The pads are often flattened when packaged and need to be made more flexible for a better fit.

• Place the protector on the back of the tendon with one hand cupped.
• Firmly apply the top, middle and bottom straps one after the other.
• Once you are satisfied with the position of the boots, go back and tighten the center molding strap with its elastic portion. This point is very important as it will take up the slack in the boot where the leg is narrower and prevent rotation.
• The bottom strap should slope down slightly to ensure a better fit around the fetlock.

• The LeMieux boots are easily machine washable on low heat (preferably 30 degrees).
• A wash tray/cap can be used.
• It is recommended to wash them in a laundry bag.
• Make sure all velcro is attached and straps are secure before washing.
• Air dry, away from any heat source, never tumble dry.
