Pure luxury in a saddle pad! The highest quality Australian merino lambskin is incredibly soft and durable. Used by many cavaliers show riders, this saddle pad has a discreet, perfect edge with an elastic panel. The wool is the perfect depth, cushioning the back without too much bulk, and there's a cut-out at the girth for a snug fit.

If the pad is too long vertically for your saddle, it can easily be cut to fit the saddle panel (inner or outer panel) - the advantage of real skin over wool is that it won't unroll!

Please note that these are 100% natural hides, and that the upper surface (under the saddle) will vary in color and texture. These variations are nothing to worry about and will not affect wear. Caution: In rare cases, the dye on black wool items may react with sweat and stain the gray coat.

• Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush.
• Machine wash at 30° on a cold/wool cycle or by hand.
• Washing in a wash bag is recommended.
• Use Lemieux Wool Wash (available from Horse Health)
• Straighten/flatten cotton fabric after washing.
• Air dry, away from sources of heat. Never tumble dry.
• Avoid using strong cleaning products.
• Ensure that all hooks and loops are firmly closed before washing.
• Warning: In rare cases, dye from black wool items can seep into wool items and give them a slight blue tint. Grey coats may be stained.
