Demotec is a two-component resin for treating lameness in cattle. Once the healthy hoof has been cleaned (rennet and rasp), the resin Demotec is applied to a wooden sole. Raising the healthy hoof will relieve the pressure on the diseased hoof. This alleviation of pressure on the diseased hoof promotes healing rapide and reduces loss of weight or milk production.
