The TURBOMAX AN800 HORIZONT mixed feeder is a high-performance product.
Horizont has developed the patented turbomax® energizers, which enhance maximum performance. These new devices meet the most stringent regulatory requirements for the protection of humans and animals. Once the equipment is installed, it recognizes disturbances on the fence (vegetation or autres energy losses) and delivers maximum power after around 55 s, for safety. Once the turbomax® devices recognize a change in fence load greater than 500 Ohm (e.g. animal contact), it will reduce the energy again to 5 J or less. A sudden change in load, e.g. from 1,000 Ohm to 40 Ohm or less, triggers the alarm. This lasts a maximum of 10 minutes, both optically and acoustically. During the alarm, the pulse frequency is reduced to 3 s. This means that turbomax® devices operate safely and reliably even under extreme conditions.Ideal for fences of up to 45 km without vegetation and 14 km with heavy vegetation.Suitable for hardy animals such as sheep or wild boar.
Advantages of the combination device:
The device is operated continuously from the mains (230 V). In the event of a power failure, the 12 V battery can take over without interrupting fence operation (= DUAL functionality).

Under normal operating conditions, the device operates at the optimum fence voltage, but with low energy and without risk (= LED below the small arrow symbol is lit). The automatic energy increase is only triggered if the electronics detect a fence malfunction. Elle is only triggered after a delay of approx. 60 s (= the LED below the large arrow symbol is lit). This gives the animal or human in contact with the fence sufficient time to recoil before the device injects higher energies into the fence.

Patented turbo effect reinforced guarding effect. Thanks to the turbo effect, the device always gives a second impulsion when the line is poorly insulated or when vegetation is abundant. Even on dry ground, the turbo effect ensures highly effective guarding.
