Reinforce your horse's hoof with the hoof fixer Keralit. Increased stability for unmatched equestrian performance.
The use of the hoof fixer KERALIT strengthens the horn and gives it much more resistance. It stabilises the horn in the area of the white line, the bearing edge, and the sole, which becomes indigestible for harmful fungi and bacteria. It neutralises agents that decompose the horn, such as ammonia or hydrogen sulphide from the stable bedding. It significantly reduces the wear of unshod hooves. The hooves noticeably gain in load capacity and stability. The shoes hold better, and the nail holes no longer cause tearing. For tough and resilient horn, whether shod or not.
Usage:
Before application, clean the hoof with a stiff and dry brush. To achieve the best result, apply the hoof fixer KERALIT on a dry or very slightly damp hoof, so that the product can be well absorbed by the horn. On an unshod hoof, apply the hoof fixer KERALIT on the outside of the lower third of the wall, and from underneath on the bearing edge and the white line. If the horse's gait is hesitant, it is advisable to apply the product also on the sole. On a shod hoof, apply the product with a brush on the lower third of the wall, at least up to the old and current nail holes. Let a little liquid run under the shoe, as this significantly reduces decomposition processes in the white line.
In severe cases, the hoof fixer KERALIT can be applied daily. After improvement, an application twice a week is sufficient. For prevention, the application is weekly.
