Automatic doorkeeper for poultry houses

The automatic doorkeeper with trap Chick'A is recommended for protecting your hens against predators (foxes, martens and autres pests...). It can also be effective in preventing roosters crowing too early in the morning.
Controlled by a programmable clock or a light sensor, this easy-to-install door lets you manage the opening and closing of the henhouse. You can use either the default mode, which detects ambient light thanks to the light sensor, or opt for the programmable clock mode (12h or 24h). Of course, you can open and close the door manually at the touch of a button.
It also features an animal detection function, which detects the presence of hens as the door slowly closes (this function is not activated when the door is closed manually). When the door is automatically closed andelle detects an obstacle, it automatically reopens and then closes. This attempt is repeated up to three times.
Waterproof and highly resistant, the materials and components used are of the highest quality. Operates in extreme weather conditions. The doorphone also features a battery-saving mode, with the display switching off after 120 seconds.
The doorphone runs on 2 AA alkaline batteries or a 5V DC adapter (not supplied). For more autonomy, you can install a solar panel of maximum 10W.

Gate installation tips: Before installing the automatic gate, make sure you have enough space for the gate to open. For proper operation of the unit, you need to leave at least 30.5 cm above the top edge of the door, on the left and right, and at least 2.5 cm below the edge of the unit.
