Description

The Hanging cheek is a fixed cheek bit that encourages flexion, which makes this bit particularly useful for horses with a high head carriage. It can also be useful for horses that are unsure of the bit, as movement in the mouth is limited.

The double-jointed mouthpiece with copper pad distributes pressure evenly over the tongue and mouth bars while promoting salivation and reducing the nutcracker effect of a single-jointed bit. Made of stainless steel, the most commonly used material for horse bits, it is durable, easy to clean, tasteless and will not rust.

Measurements
According to our size guide, the A and B measurements of this bit are as follows:

Stainless Steel Horse Bits...
Stainless steel is the most commonly used material for horse bits because it is durable, easy to clean and does not rust. Some of our stainless steel bits have copper mouthpieces that help create a warm feeling and encourage the horse to salivate and accept the bit. Stainless steel bits are suitable for a wide range of horses and are available in many designs, allowing you to choose the right bit for your horse and your discipline.

Pair your bit with one of our anatomical bridles.

Please note that for health and hygiene reasons, this bit is not returnable if removed from the model.
