STYLE: Our airbag vest Airlight 2 is designed to be worn fitted, either on its own or over our New York competition jackets (available HERE), the Paris Soft Air competition jackets (available in December 2021) or any other garment certified as a compatible Freejump Airbag Technology jacket* (*Jacket compatible with Freejump Airbag Technology). It closes with a zip at the front, and two rows of V stitching nicely shape the product and give it that unmistakable Pénélope tone. COMFORT: Made from stretchy and breathable materials, it is very lightweight to wear and is hardly noticeable once in the saddle. CERTIFICATION: Certified according to the AFNOR NF S72-800-2021 standard under the reference CE FREEJUMP 1C.2. PERFORMANCE: The inflation speed of the Airlight 2 airbag vest is 98ms, which is ultra-quick for it to reach the necessary pressure for optimal protection. The gas generator available on this new model is lighter, faster, and quieter. It also has a new patented ball cord with a more practical retaining clip (with simplified rearming), and its new saddle attachment is made from a lightweight high-performance textile. SIZE ADVICE: Your Airlight 2 airbag vest must fit perfectly, and you should choose one that is neither too big nor too small. If it is too tight, it may be dangerous upon activation; if it is too loose, it may be ineffective. CARE ADVICE: Care advice: This vest should not be machine washed or dry cleaned. To maintain your Airlight, you can wash it by hand with mild detergent, without scrubbing. It must never be put in the tumble dryer or ironed. It should not be exposed to high temperatures (for example, on a radiator, near a flame, or in a closed vehicle exposed to direct sunlight). You cannot leave the Airlight vest either folded or rolled up. The best way is to store it on a hanger in a dry place, protected from moisture.
