The Antarès leather besace handbag can be carried cross-body or cross-body thanks to its large, adjustable shoulder strap. This bag has a very large capacity. Inside pockets and snap hooks keep contents organized. The reinforced shoulder strap provides excellent shoulder comfort. Made from leather scraps from our saddles, the Milano saddle bag is both sturdy and waterproof.

*Pockets, cut and size of the besace bag
The Antarès besace bag is a bag with great depth, practical for holding a computer or large objects. The large 39x39x10cm main pocket closes with a long flap with rounded edges for a smoother finish.

2 carabiners on either side of the bag for keys. The large 90cm shoulder strap is adjustable on both sides with real stirrup loops.
The Antarès besace is a genuine made-to-measure bag with 9 holes on each side of the shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is reinforced with a zipper for greater shoulder comfort, even with a heavy bag.
The bag is made of supple, full-grain leather with a fabric inner lining. Rigid grained leather reinforcements are judiciously placed on the shoulder strap, sides and bottom of the bag for added strength and waterproofing.
*Details and finishes of the besace bag
The soft leather is lined in calfskin with grained hard leather inserts. The famous Antarès horse head is lined in soft leather and topstitched across the width of the bag, with genuine Antarès Sellier saddle studs on each side of the bag.
Finished with topstitching on the outside and inside of the bag. Available in black calf lined leather with black stitching and brown calf lined leather with beige stitching.
*Leather and its care
Our bags are made of French leathers from the leather scraps of our saddles. To preserve all the original qualities of the leather, no corrections are made to the grain. Small irregularities are the visual proof of this.
They are also traces of the animal's past, which the leather wears with pride. The only manipulation carried out on the leather is to stretch it during drying in the tannery. This is to minimize the risk of stretching the leather during use.
Because we choose to avoid wasting leather, the leather used in our bags may appear less smooth than that used inautres ranges of products. The application of a quality balm will attenuate any visual irregularities and give it a beautiful appearance.
Maintaining the bag with a nourishing balm will keep the leather supple and strong.
