Composition of your Précision Carbone Eclipse riding helmetThe shellThe outer shell of the helmet, which is thicker, is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the impact energy across the surface of the helmet. When your helmet hits an object, the shell distributes the shock wave by dissipating it. Stiff and lightweight, it is known for its great scratch resistance. The inner paddingFeaturing a new innovative shape and made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), the inner padding absorbs the energy emitted by shocks by dispersing it. It then crushes and becomes much denser. The inside is partly covered with blue perforated pads: the ERT (Energy Reduction Technology). This new technology allows for better energy distribution from both small and large impacts. Moreover, it has an anti-rotational action. The fastening systemCompletely redesigned for more practicality, the helmet fastening has a Fidlock magnetic buckle. Its purpose is to secure the helmet with one hand. The harness made of leather and nylon ensures that the helmet fits well on the rider's head. It is a 3-point fastening.
