Aquarium sand Bora Bora

This sand is a very fine, white substrate based on calcium and magnesium compounds and is ideal for marine s. We recommend a layer of 2 to 3 cm, so that a sufficiently strong current, generating good mixing, can clear it of detritus and prevent any concentration of nitrates at sol. Sand Bora Bora is also ideal for mixing with live sand filtration systems (DSB method); in this case, the bottom substrate should be at least 8 to 20 cm high. Sand Bora Bora does not release nitrates, phosphates or silicates. It is largely composed of calcium and magnesium, and fines the water with calcium and magnesium carbonates and bicarbonates (measured by TAC - or KH in Allemagne).
