The trap should be placed at a height of 120-160 cm above the ground, in a sunny spot that is as sheltered from the wind as possible.
The bait works thanks to the volatile, scented amino acids released during fermentation by yeasts in the bait.
Flies enter through the container's opening and are thus captured and eliminated by drowning.
