The permanent deformations that are the soft and hard tares can cause, in addition to a visual discomfort, a functional discomfort to the horse.
Soft deformities, located on the surface of the skin or in the underlying tissues, are due to the dilation of synovial pockets or tendon sheaths and are inflammations oforigine traumatic. Hard defects are ossifications, bone growths due to repeated trauma, calcification of cartilage or superficial bone proliferation.
REDUCINE ABSORBENT is a pine tar-based paste with rubefacient properties that stimulate blood circulation and limit local pain. REDUCINE ABSORBENT is particularly recommended for horses prone to tares.
Our advice: for an easier application, REDUCINE ABSORBENT can be slightly heated.
Pine tar, soybean oil, glycerine, potassium hydroxide.
Apply sufficient amount of REDUCINE ABSORBENT to the desired area. Do not apply too thickly.
- Stir the jar well before use.
- Cut the hair in the area concerned.
- Hang the hair so that it does not touch the area to be treated.
- Apply the paste to clean, healthy skin with a small stiff brush or with the hand.
- Repeat the application on the following days until the skin shows signs of flaking or cracking.
- Stop all application and let the treated area rest.
