With its matte black shell and its brown or black leather finish, the Référence helmet is understated and classic. Its timeless design adds to the comfort of a breathable helmet. Complying with European and American standards, it allows the rider to ride safely.
If out of stock, the delivery time is 6 to 8 weeks for size L.

The Référence collection is the Antarès helmet in its most understated and discreet version. The shell is completely matte, and the details are chrome.

Personalisation of your Antarès helmet

• If you wish, you can change the colours of the headband, the visor, and the triangle of this model to have a unique helmet. In its classic version, these elements are chrome. It's up to you to choose your helmet customisation colours based on your preferences! We have written a blog post on helmet personalisation to help you do it easily.
• Composition of your Référence riding helmet
  The shell
  The outer shell of the helmet is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse the impact energy across the helmet's surface. When your helmet strikes an object, the shell distributes the shockwave by dissipating it. Rigid and lightweight, it is known for its high resistance to scratches.
• The padding
  Made of EPS (expanded polystyrene), it absorbs the energy emitted by the impact by contracting. The padding thus becomes much denser. Its density varies according to the sizes of our helmets. To observe the effects of an impact on the padding, check out our blog post.
• The vents
  Its 4 front vents and 2 rear exhausts provide good airflow. Thermal regulation is therefore improved.
• The retention system
  The harness ensures a good fit of the helmet on the rider's head. It consists of 3 points. The Y-shape of the fastening system has points that are further apart, which reduces the helmet's rotation. The straps are made of nylon and the buckles are made of POM.
• Bonus: the Antarès harnesses are made from leather remnants from our custom saddles. Attractive and responsible!

• The helmet pads
  In contact with the rider's head, the high-quality foams allow for a perfect fit of your riding helmet and optimal comfort. Whether your head shape is round or oval, they will adapt to your morphology. Removable, these internal pads can be regularly taken out and cleaned to maintain the helmet's cleanliness. Made in Italy, they are breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified, and hand washable in lukewarm water.

The cross visor
The short visor has been designed to meet the requirements of eventing riders on cross-country terrain and to protect the rider in case of a fall. The European standard EN1384-2023 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This is to prevent it from breaking and injuring the rider. The visors of Antarès helmets are therefore intentionally flexible. In case of deformation, it can be manually reshaped to restore its original form.

The helmet bag is ideal for protecting and transporting your helmet easily. It is designed with meticulous attention to detail, featuring a large central pocket and a big zipper to facilitate helmet storage.
