Optimize your control with the copper lifting bit Stübben, perfect for a calm and effective positioning in the mouth.
A lifting bit is used with lifting reins, which pass through the rings of the bit and have a ring at the bottom. Lifting bits can be used with one or two reins. When the reins are taken, the pressure on the middle of the head increases, causing the bit to tilt in the mouth and be pulled upwards. This also increases the pressure on the horse's tongue and bars. As its name suggests, a lifting bit helps to raise the horse's head. The lifting bit offers a high level of control and is suitable only for experienced riders!
The flash noseband prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched in the rings. The horse cannot lift the bit with its tongue, so the part of the bit lies more quietly in the mouth and is slightly stabilized laterally. Since the ring does not turn, this creates a slightly more direct effect with a slight influence on the middle of the head. However, the difference with a Waterford bit is not noticeable to the horse or most riders.
The part of the bit with a single joint lies more quietly in the mouth than a double-jointed part and distributes pressure on the horse's bars; the central joint reduces pressure on the tongue. The flash noseband provides slight stabilization and lateral guiding, creating calmness and stability in the horse's mouth. The SWEET Copper has a slightly sweet taste, which is well accepted by horses and encourages chewing.
