The adjustable noseband offers adjustable pressure on the nose, which helps the horse to support the bit naturally, making it perfect, for example, for the young horse that is still in training or for the more sensitive horse that doesn't like to maintain and relaxes the contact with the bit. The noseband is also suitable for strong/hot horses that "lean" as it helps the rider to regulate the horse without a sharp bit or harsh hands, allowing the rider to work together with NirakTM and an appropriate bit more easily. The fact that there is only one side piece connected to the noseband creates pressure on the nose with a pull from the reins, somewhat like a hackamore. This pressure is adjustable; the lower it is on the nose, the more pronounced the effect. The noseband is also curved upwards, reducing pressure on the airways. The noseband lowers the risk of bit-related injuries inside the mouth as it does not rest directly against the teeth.
