The Buster Sweet Itch is made from 100% UV reflective polyester and durable 1000D rip stop, meaning that even the tiniest midges can't penetrate the surface. This makes the rug ideal as a preventive measure for horses that are prone to sweet itch or are hypersensitive to insect bites or harmful rays from the sun. Our fly rug materials are carefully selected for their incredible durability and breathability, helping to keep your horse cool and protected in hot weather.

We've added an antibacterial and anti-static polyester lining on the shoulder and neck, which helps to prevent rubbing and is comfortable against your horse's skin. An integrated neck cover extends over the ears to provide maximum coverage and our famous extra-high elastic gusset allows for greater freedom of movement at the shoulder. Secured with double-lock Velcro neck cover straps, quick-release chest clips, cross surcingles, and a PVC tail strap. A must-have for summer for horses that are ultra-sensitive to sweet itch.
