Loose ring cheeks offer a greater range of motion than a fixed cheek, which can help discourage binding and tipping. The double-jointed mouthpiece with brass alloy pad allows for even pressure distribution on the tongue and mouth bars while promoting salivation.

The soft blue iron oxidizes easily, creating a warm feeling and sweet taste in the horse's mouth, helping him accept the bit. Please note that the blue color fades with use, which is normal.
