The EquiKind+ bit with a tilted mouthpiece allows for a slight leverage with a diamond shape to encourage a softer contact. The rings are larger on the 5" and 5.5" models to keep the bit proportionate for larger horse heads. Thickness of the mouthpiece: 15 mm. Height of the cheek: 55 mm (4.5", 5"), 65 mm (5.5"). The EquiKind+ coating is thinner than a rubber bit, making it more comfortable for horses that don't have room for a thick bit and ideal for sensitive mouths or horses that dislike metal in their mouths. Stainless steel is used for its durability, ease of cleaning, and resistance to rust.
