Airbag vest for children Air2

France is the premier country to adopt a standard governing the manufacture of Riding Airbags (PPE Personal Protective Equipment). Pending European harmonization, this NF S72-800-2022 standard provides cavaliers with enhanced protection by regulating the protective surface and inflation speed, and imposing much more stringent impact tests on vests.

The new EQUITHÈME AIR2 airbag developed by FREEJUMP meets the requirements of the new NF-S-72-800-2022 standard thanks to

• Its inflation speed ultra rapide: 115ms to reach the pressure required by impact tests for a size M.


• Its extended coverage zone (NF standard requirements) goes even further than the NF standard by satisfying longitudinal impacts on the back.


• Its lower back protection, managed by snap fasteners, enables the airbag length to be shortened when riding, and an extra length to be deployed in the event of a fall.


• Weight: 900 g including cartridge for size M.


• Maximum ventilation.


• Resetting is made easy by the orange ball-holding clip and the cork guide to avoid losing the cork. A flash code on the cartridges provides a more precise explanation of resetting.


• A textile saddle clip to avoid metal-on-metal rattling.


• The Child/Child version in sizes S and L triggers at 25 kg.


• No horse size limit, whatever the airbag size. The new standard imposes a size minimum of horse according to the speed of release: an airbag that releases slowly can be used on a tall horse to give it time to inflate before hitting the ground! FREEJUMP technology airbags pass the tests whatever the height of the horse... no restrictions for the consumer.
