Riding airbag vest Airsafe

France is the premier country to adopt a standard governing the manufacture of Riding Airbags (PPE Personal Protective Equipment). Pending European harmonization, this NF S72-800-2022 standard provides cavaliers with enhanced protection by regulating the protective surface and inflation speed, and imposing much more stringent impact tests on vests.

The Airbag EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE developed by FREEJUMP is an airbag designed for equestrian sports. It is worn close to the body, over a thin layer of clothing such as a T-shirt or thin woollen garment.... This airbag protects vital areas of the rider's body.

Compatible jackets bear the "Freejump Airbag Technology" badge.

Comfort

Triggering system

The gas generator in EQUITHÈME airbags is the most powerful on the market. It's lightweight and compact.

Resetting is facilitated by the cap's guide for unscrewing/unscrewing, making it easy to reset and impossible to lose the cap. The ball-holding clip allows the ball cord to be replaced safely and easily.

A QR code printed on FREEJUMP cartridges allows you to view a video explaining how to reassemble the new cartridge after an accident or accidental triggering.

Compatible clothing

Compatible clothing is certified to AFNOR standard NF S78-800-2022.

Jackets compatible with the EQUITHÈME AIRSAFE airbag must bear the "FREEJUMP AIRBAG TECHNOLOGY - COMPATIBLE JACKET" label.

Cartridges: the AIRSAFE vest is approved for FREEJUMP cartridges only. There are 3 cartridge sizes:

• 50CC (for children's sizes S and L)
• 60CC (for sizes XXS to L)
• 85CC (For sizes LT-XL-XXL)

Care and storage

• Do not machine wash or dry clean. Do not immerse in water. We recommend washing your airbag vest by hand with a sponge and mild detergents, without rubbing.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Do not iron.
• Do not expose your airbag vest to high temperatures (storage on a radiator, near a flame, in a closed vehicle in direct sunlight).
• Do not leave your airbag vest folded or rolled up for long periods.
• Store your vest on a hanger in a dry place away from moisture.

ATTENTION

• The child airbag is suitable for a person weighing 25 kg minimum.
• The adult airbag from size XXS upwards is suitable for a person of 1.45 m and 35 kg minimum.
