Customize your Antarès
helmet If you wish, you can change the colors of the bar, headband and triangle of this model to create a unique helmet. The classic version is chrome-plated. It's up to you to choose your own helmet customization colors!

The shell
The outer shell of the helmet is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse impact energy over the helmet's surface. When your helmet strikes an object, the shell distributes the shockwave and dissipates it. Rigid and lightweight, it is renowned for its high resistance to scratches.
The
pad Composed of EPS (expanded polystyrene), it absorbs the energy emitted by the impact by retracting. As a result, the pad becomes much denser. Density varies according to helmet size. To see the effects of impact on the pad, see our blog post.
Air vents
The helmet's 4 front vents and 2 rear extractors ensure good air circulation. Thermal regulation is enhanced.
Retention system
The harness ensures that the helmet stays securely on the rider's head. It consists of 3 points. The Y-shape of the fastening system has points further apart, which reduces helmet rotation. The straps are made of nylon and the buckles of POM.
A little extra: Antarès harnesses are made of leather from the off-cuts of their custom-made saddles. Aesthetic and responsible!
Helmet pads
In contact with the rider's head, these top-of-the-range foams ensure a perfect fit for your riding helmet and optimum comfort. Whether your head shape is round or oval, they'll complement your body shape. Removable, these internal pads can be regularly removed and cleaned to keep the bomb clean. Made from Italie, they are breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified and hand-washable in warm water.
European standard EN1384-2017 requires the visor to flex when a load is applied to it. This prevents the visor from breaking and injuring the rider. The visor on Antarès helmets is therefore deliberately flexible. In the event of deformation, it can be manually manipulated to restore its original shape.
The Antarès helmet consists of:
- a shell (available in 3 sizes S - M - L)
- a set headband pad (set B) to adjust the shell to the headband and determine the helmet size.
Available in 4 thicknesses: 4 - 8 - 12 and 16 mm. The rear part of the headband pad is removable to allow more room for a ponytail or for hair to be pulled up inside the helmet.
- a set "top-front" pad (set A) to adjust the depth of the helmet on the top of the head and on the front of the helmet. Available in 2 thicknesses: 4 and 8 mm.
SET A of foams (to be fitted to the bottom and front of the helmet) is included in the price of the helmet. The SET B of foams (for the sides) must be purchased in addition to the helmet. The 2 types of foam are absolutely essential for port helmets. Foams are machine-washable at 30 degrees, but should not be tumble-dried.
You have a 5-year warranty from the helmet's date of manufacture to request a helmet overhaul.
Please note: Antarès helmets are rounder in shape, so if you have a more oval head we advise you to go up a size.
