Premium helmet description
The Premium helmet has a shell with a glossy finish. For an elegant design, the leather and shell are color-matched. It is available in 5 shell colors. Its timeless design adds to the comfort of a breathable helmet. The helmet complies with European and American standards, enabling riders to ride in complete safety. The Eclipse visor gives the helmet a stylish, elegant finish. Its size, larger than a conventional visor, protects you from the sun during your riding sessions in the arena or outdoors.
The Premium collection offers a high-gloss finish in five shell colors: blue, black, bison, gray and carbon. The Antarès Premium helmet featuresrise a high-gloss shell with leather inserts and harness.
Composition of your riding helmet Helmet Reference
- The shell
The helmet's outer shell is made of ABS. Its role is to disperse impact energy over the helmet's surface. When your helmet strikes an object, the shell distributes the shockwave and dissipates it. Rigid and lightweight, it is renowned for its high resistance to scratches.
- The
pad Composed of EPS (expanded polystyrene), it absorbs the energy emitted by the impact by retracting. As a result, the pad becomes much denser. Density varies according to helmet size. To observe the impact on the pad, see our blog post.
- Air vents
The helmet's 4 front vents and 2 rear extractors ensure good air circulation. Thermal regulation is enhanced.
- Retention system
The harness ensures that the helmet stays securely on the rider's head. It consists of 3 points. The Y-shape of the fastening system has points further apart, which reduces helmet rotation. The straps are made of nylon and the buckles of POM. A little extra: Antarès harnesses are made of leather from the off-cuts of their custom-made saddles. Aesthetic and responsible!
- Helmet pads/foams
In contact with the rider's head, these top-of-the-range foams ensure a perfect fit for your riding helmet and optimum comfort. Whether your head shape is round or oval, they'll complement your body shape. Removable, these internal pads can be regularly removed and cleaned to keep the bomb clean. Made from Italie, they are breathable, OEKO-TEX® certified and hand-washable in warm water.

Antarès helmets are CE marked and SEI certified.
European standard EN1384-2017 requires the visor to be deflected when a load is applied to it. This prevents the visor from breaking and injuring the rider. The visor on Antarès helmets is therefore deliberately flexible. In the event of deformation, it can be manually manipulated to restore its original shape.
Helmet composition
The Antarès helmet consists of :
- A shell (available in 2 sizes S - M )
- The SET A foam padding (for front and back), included in the price of the helmet.
The set headband pads (set B) to adjust the shell to the headband and determine the helmet size are not included in the price of the helmet, so must be purchased separately.
These pads are placed on the sides. The set B is available in 4 thicknesses: 4 - 8 - 12 and 16 mm. The back of the "headband" pad is removable to leave more room for a ponytail or to pull hair up inside the helmet.

Care
Foams are machine-washable at 30 degrees or warm water, but should not be tumble-dried.
Warranty
You have a 5-year warranty from the helmet's date of manufacture to request a revision of your helmet.
Please note: Antarès helmets are rounder in shape, so if you have a more oval head, we recommend going up a size.
