The LeMieux Leather Dressage Girth offers high performance in an elegant and sophisticated package. Made from soft and supple leather, the D-ring allows for easy attachment of training aids, enhancing the product's versatility.

Not only does it prevent the saddle from slipping, but its shape also provides comfort and freedom of movement for the muscles.

For your horse's comfort, the ultra-soft leather construction evenly distributes pressure across the girth's surface, making it an essential part of your dressage gear. As a bonus, the removable Simuwool lining prevents sweat buildup, is easy to clean, breathable, padded, and ideal for horses with sensitive skin. Simuwool is our unique synthetic 'wool', machine washable, quick-drying, and durable, made to replicate the look, breathability, and elasticity of natural fibers.

It comes with two removable liners: black straps with black and natural, brown straps with brown and natural.

Care for LeMieux Simuwool

Remove hair, dirt, and dried sweat with a stiff brush.

Wash in the machine at 30° on a delicate/wool cycle or by hand.

Use a liquid wool detergent.

Make sure all Velcro fastenings are securely closed before washing.

Straighten/lay out the fabric after washing. Air dry. Never tumble dry.

Avoid using strong fabric softeners.

Warning: In rare cases, the dye from black wool items may bleed, leaving a slight blue tint. Stains on the coats of grey horses may occur.

Leather Care

The highest quality leather from LeMieux is pre-oiled. Leather is a natural material that requires your care to stay in good condition.

Cleaning and maintenance

Leaving your leather dirty, damp, or drying it too quickly can lead to hardening and cracking.

After each use, gently wipe with warm water and leather soap. Air dry.

For deep cleaning, disassemble. Clean thoroughly using warm water and a high-quality leather soap. Air dry. Treat with a premium leather balm or oil, and buff the leather and metal with a soft cloth.

Always store in a cool, clean, and dry place.
